Arrived back from my hols in the early hours of the morning. Woke up hoping to get some flying in but there was a fair breeze blowing so decided to go for a windsurfing session instead.

First of all quickly patched up Als old 6.3 Gun sail I had bought of him as I thought it may be required and how right I was.
Got there to find Phil out on his own which was a surprise as I was expecting at least 10 others out on such a nice day. Jeff turned up shortly after I arrived and he rigged his 6.5m sail.
I Rigged the 6.3 and got on the water. There certainly felt enough wind to be planing all the time on the shoreline but it was really marginal.
I would say a 3rd of the session I got planing and the rest of the session was spent trynna get planing which was a bit frustrating whilst Jeff was flying along. Dont know wheteher hes got a real good technique or hes got some little outboard motor on the back of his board.

All in all though, it was good to be out again even though conditions were pretty marginal.
More next weekend please!
